Rogue Spend means your organisation is potentially engaging a range of suppliers and entering into a range of different contracts most of which have been designed from the agencies perspective. This leaves your organisation exposed to potentially some expensive claims from agencies that had you known about you never would have agreed to.
Our PSL solution alone cannot eliminate rogue spend as it can involve a cultural shift as well as using tools such as PSL to provide managers with access to all the information they need. When a client implements our PSL solution we also advise them to do the following:
- Consider implementing their own recruitment supplier contract that has as it’s primary objective the protection of the client’s interests (we can recommend lawyers who specialise in this area).
- Provide clear communication to all staff that come into contact with recruitment agencies that the approval of agencies is being dealt with centrally by a select few individuals and the only assistance you would request of them in this process is the redirection of all enquiries to your potential supplier registration form.
Your PSL solution is delivered on an unlimited user basis. This means you can provide “read only” access for all your line managers or anyone else involved in the process of using recruitment agencies but who does not have the organisation’s permission to approve new providers. This “read only” access can be further limited to only show them only approved providers. This means recruiting managers have a live supplier database of approved providers they can use and have no excuse to go outside of these providers.
