Q: What is agency communication?

A: The PSL database allows you to easily mass email all or particular groups of agencies from your database. There are a wide variety of reasons why you may wish to communicate something quickly to agencies on your PSL database:

  • Updating members actively working on a vacancy of a major development such as a change in the status of the role, the salary or the candidate profile you are looking for.
  • Updating all agencies with pending applications on the status of your PSL. It's polite, shows you are taking them into consideration, and will help to reduce follow up calls.
  • Distributing a new vacancy to a group of preferred suppliers.
  • Providing approved agencies with a performance report in comparison to other members of your PSL.

Q: Why would I want you to communicate with agencies that contact us?

A: By communicating with your existing approved suppliers you are able to remind them of what you need from them, give them an insight into what has happened in the last quarter (e.g. how many placements were made by agencies etc.) and what is likely to be happening next quarter.

By communicating with those agencies who have registered but not yet been approved you are able to remind them that you still have their details and that if they want to recruit for you, this is the only successful route they can take.
